How big do siamese cats get?

Hello,

I bought my first cat, a Siamese, at 8 weeks of age. His name is

Ginger. I've heard that Siamese cats grow much larger than other

cats. My ginger is about 8 weeks old. He is very large, almost

2 years old. How big do they get?

Ginger is huge! I can't believe you are 8 weeks old already. I have

a Siamese and my other one looks a little like yours. I bought

them in April and I had her for 8 weeks and the other one will be

8 weeks soon too. Both are huge and so pretty. The Siamese are

actually the light brown and my other one is the dark, but they

both have white markings on them. I think she's going to be

beautiful.

Cats of all sizes and colors are avlable. Some people will say

they prefer medium sized cats. Others, like myself, prefer big

cats! Most breeders start kittens with a big litter as well.

The average is 9 pounds for kittens from queens, 7 pounds for

kittens from queens who are over four years old.

I have had a Siamese for two years now. He is only a year old

now and we've had him since he was 8 weeks old. I also have a

When you say you got him when he was 8 weeks old, how did you

know when you purchased him? Did you have to wt until they

were 8 weeks old to take them home? We're considering getting a

Siamese...but we want to be sure that it is a cat we want...so we

need to know more about how they come about.

We wted to have them because we were afrd we would be turned

off to certn breeds after having so many dogs. I actually read

that Siamese's should not have more than 2 and half pounds

weight. I didn't know that! But I did like the way they look and

felt, so we got them!

I just wanted to tell you I think your cat looks gorgeous and I

really admire your style in making things for her. I will be

taking some photos when I can to add to your gallery and show

everyone how nice she looks.

I wanted to tell you I'm having a "birthday" today. It's my

8th birthday and I have been wting to make my list of gifts

and ideas for presents. It's my turn to give something for the

birthday but I don't have a clue what to give!

I do have some ideas but I can't decide which would be the best

thing. I've been going around and around about it and can't make

a choice!

Hi Lori,Your baby cat is adorable! I just bought a Siamese for

my daughter in May. At 8 weeks, they are so much fun and I

really enjoy watching them. I'm sure she's going to make you

very happy. Have a great birthday! -- Cathy

I bought my first Siamese kittens at a breeder's show. When I

got them home I was in awe! I had a small space where I could

hold them, not huge like a regular house. They ate, slept and

play right in my lap! I went to the store for some items for

them and my son, of course, thought it was the most perfect

place in the world to play with them. When I came home, and

found him standing there, I knew I would be a cat lady for

life!

I have been meaning to ask you a question for a while now. I

am trying to decide between two breeders who are asking me to

come to their houses to meet the cats, one in Texas, the other

in California. I've been reading on the Internet that some of

the older cats from that breed that I can find come from out

of state, and some seem to
